COUNCIL ACCOMPLISHMENTS - MY RECORD
Municipal Council plays an important role in shaping the future of our community. From setting annual budgets and modernizing bylaws to introducing new policies, the decisions made by Council have a direct impact on the everyday lives of residents.
As your City Councillor, I have approached this role with a strong commitment to leadership, accountability, and delivering results. This page highlights some of the key accomplishments from my first term on Council. By bringing forward motions, supporting new initiatives, and working collaboratively with Council and staff, I have focused on making meaningful improvements that strengthen our community and enhance the quality of life for residents.
I am grateful to my fellow members of Council, City staff, and residents for their support in helping make these initiatives possible.

ADVISORY COMMITTEES
Advisory committees play an important role in good local government. They bring together residents, business owners, community organizations, and subject matter experts to share their knowledge, experiences, and ideas. Their insight helps Council make more informed decisions that reflect the needs of our community.
I believe some of the best solutions come from listening to the people who know our community best. Advisory committees create opportunities for meaningful discussion, collaboration, and thoughtful recommendations that help shape the future of Niagara Falls.
I am proud to serve on the following advisory committees during my first term on Council. Working alongside dedicated volunteers and community leaders has been both rewarding and inspiring, and I look forward to continuing this important work.

NIAGARA DISTRICT AIRPORT COMMISSION
I am incredibly proud of what the Niagara District Airport Commission has accomplished during my first term as Commissioner. Together, we have made significant progress toward strengthening the Airport's future and creating new opportunities for our region.
A major milestone was the development and approval of the Niagara District Airport's 2025 to 2045 Master Plan, a bold vision that will support economic growth, tourism, business investment, and regional connectivity. I am also excited to see progress already underway, including Air Canada's new Landline service, which provides travellers with a seamless connection to Toronto Pearson International Airport.
The future of the Niagara District Airport is incredibly bright. Stay tuned. There are some exciting announcements on the horizon.
NIAGARA FALLS ARMOURY STEERING COMMITTEE
The Armoury Steering Committee brings together Council, veterans, museum representatives, and community organizations to help guide the preservation and long-term future of the historic Niagara Falls Armoury.
I have been a strong supporter of the Armoury and Niagara Military Museum for many years, long before becoming a City Councillor. As a member of the Committee, I continue working to protect its history, strengthen the museum, and support a sustainable future for the building.
Most recently, Council supported extending the museum’s lease and moving forward with a long-term vision and business case for the Armoury. I will continue advocating for the Armoury, working closely with staff and community partners, and pursuing external funding, partnerships, and sponsorship opportunities to help secure its long-term future.

DOWNTOWN ADVISORY COMMITTEE
Recognizing the need for a stronger focus on our downtown, I brought forward the motion to establish the Downtown Advisory Committee. The Committee was created to bring together Council, local businesses, community organizations, and other stakeholders to support the growth, revitalization, and long-term success of downtown Niagara Falls.
Since its creation, the Committee has helped advance important priorities, including downtown beautification, public safety, business development, and coordinated action on issues affecting the area. By creating a dedicated forum for collaboration and open discussion, the Committee is helping build a stronger, more vibrant, and welcoming downtown for businesses, residents, and visitors.
I am proud to have introduced this initiative and remain committed to supporting the continued growth and success of downtown Niagara Falls.
PROPERTY STANDARDS COMMITTEE
The Property Standards Committee is a quasi-judicial committee established under the Ontario Building Code Act. In addition to hearing appeals of Property Standards Orders issued by the City, Committee members also serve as the City's Dangerous Dog Committee, hearing appeals under the City's Animal Control By-law. In both roles, the Committee provides an independent and impartial review to help ensure decisions are fair, consistent, and in accordance with the law.
Taking pride in our neighbourhoods starts with maintaining them. As someone who loves animals and cares deeply about our community, I appreciate the importance of balancing responsible pet ownership, public safety, and fair decision-making. It is a responsibility I take seriously, and I am committed to ensuring every matter is considered carefully, impartially, and in the best interests of our community.

HISTORIC DRUMMONDVILLE BIA (MAIN & FERRY)
Business Improvement Areas (BIAs) play an important role in supporting local businesses and strengthening commercial districts. They help promote local shopping, organize community events, support beautification projects, advocate for business owners, and encourage economic growth and investment. BIAs also work closely with municipalities to create vibrant, welcoming destinations for residents and visitors.
As Council Liaison to the Historic Drummondville BIA, I work closely with the Board of Management to strengthen communication between the City and the local business community while supporting initiatives that contribute to the continued growth and success of the area.
Supporting our local business community remains a priority, and I will continue working with Business Improvement Areas throughout the city to help Niagara Falls continue to thrive.
DIVERSITY, EQUITY AND INCLUSION ADVISORY COMMITTEE
The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Advisory Committee works to foster respectful engagement, fairness, and stronger community connections across our municipality. It provides a forum for discussing community issues, encouraging understanding between different perspectives, and making recommendations to Council on matters within its mandate.
During my first term on Council, the Committee successfully hosted three Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Summits, bringing together residents, community organizations, and guest speakers to encourage open dialogue, share ideas, and learn from one another.
